Active Military and Vets Eat FREE at TA-Petro on July 4th, Love’s Opens Two New Stops
Little Rock, AR – In this edition of Truck Stop News: Travel Centers of America and Petro Stopping Centers (TA-Petro) is offering FREE meals to military service members and veterans this July 4th and Love’s Travel Stops recently opened two new locations.
TA-Petro will be providing a free meal to all active duty service members and veterans this Independence Day at any participating Country Pride, Iron Skillet or fast food locations.
“This July 4th, come eat with us… for free!” the major truck stop chain said this week in a Tweet. “Thank you for your service!”

The truck stop giant also recently opened a new TA Express in Ronks, PA, located at 2622 Lincoln Highway East.
It features 30 truck parking spaces, six diesel fueling lanes, two private showers and laundry facilities.
Dining options include a Subway and Champs Chicken.
Love’s Opens New Stops in Georgia and Michigan
Love’s recently opened new stops in Georgia and Michigan boasting a combined 159 truck parking spaces.
Earlier this month, the Oklahoma City, OK-based company opened a new stop in Albany, GA, located off U.S. 19 at 1737 Clark Ave.
The store offers 100 truck parking spaces along with seven diesel bays, five showers, laundry facilities and a CAT Scale.
A Bojangles fast food restaurant is also now open at this location.
Most recently, Love’s opened a new 12,000 sq. ft. store in Alamo, MI, located off U.S. Highway 131 at 7900 Adobe Road.
Amenities for truckers include: 59 truck parking spaces, six diesel bays, five showers, laundry facilities, a CAT Scale and a McDonald’s.
