Biden Caught on Hot Mic (Again) Peddling Bogus Claim About Once Being a Trucker
Rosemount, MN — President Joseph Biden has once again been caught on a hot microphone peddling the bogus claim he was once a trucker.
During an appearance this week in Minnesota to sell the new infrastructure law and his $1.8 trillion “Build Back Better” social spending bill, the President couldn’t resist spinning a trucking tale.
“I used to drive a tractor-trailer,” Biden said to representatives from Dakota County Technical College. “I know a little bit about big trucks.”
Mr. Biden was caught in July making a similar false claim during an event at the Mack Trucks Lehigh Valley Operations facility in Pennsylvania.
When pressed on the matter, the White House struggled to explain the dubious claim at the time.
A spokesperson pointed FOX News to a December 1973 article from the Wilmington Evening Journal which reported Biden once rode in a big rig during a 536-mile haul to Ohio.
Further, the White House also claimed Mr. Biden once had a summer job driving a school bus.
The Republican National Committee quickly seized on the latest debunked assertion.

Why the President continues to repeat this patently false story is anyone’s guess.
