
Big Rig’s Load of Cookie Dough Burns to a Crisp on Tennessee Interstate
Hickman County, TN – A semi hauling a load of cookie dough burned to a crisp early Sunday morning on a Tennessee interstate.
The Coble Fire Department (CFD) posted of the incident at 7:40 a.m. on Sunday.
Officials responded to the early morning fire on Interstate 40 westbound at mile marker 158.
When CFD got to the scene, they discovered a tractor-trailer fully engulfed in flames.
Tragically, the semi was hauling a load of cookie dough.
The load was a total loss.
I-40 was shut down for a while as cleanup crews tacked the crispy cookie tragedy.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), I-40 westbound was completely clear by 10 a.m.
Witnesses at the scene claim the tractor-trailer belonged to Stevens, Inc.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Investigators did not reveal what likely caused the blaze.
