Blue Comdata Comcheks Will Soon Be Invalid Due to Bank Swap

Brentwood, TN — Comdata Comcheks will be changing at the end of the month, rendering the well-known blue checks invalid.

After Monday, January 31, the blue Comcheks will no longer be valid, a Comdata representative confirmed to Transportation Nation Network (TNN).

The new green Comcheks will be the only ones accepted following January 31, 2022.

The change is due to the company switching banks from Regions to Wells Fargo.

According to a Comdata representative, if you are in possession of blue Comcheks, they can be swapped out free of charge by emailing [email protected] by the end of February.

You will no longer be able to swap out the checks with Comdata directly at no cost after February 28, the representative indicated to TNN.

New green checks can be ordered online anytime at

Owner-operator Clinton Kirker told TNN he was advised by Comdata he could swap out existing blue checks for green ones at any Regions location.

However, getting a tractor-trailer near a bank can prove to be either inconvenient or a challenge, so Kirker said he was able to explain to a Pilot truck stop employee what was going on.

The employee, he told TNN, graciously provided him with “a handful of the new [Comcheks].” will continue to monitor this story in the event of updates.
