
Charges Against Two Top Freedom Convoy Organizers Revealed
Ottawa, ON — Police have now revealed the charges against two top leaders of Freedom Convoy.
On Thursday, Ottawa Police Service (OPS) officers arrested Freedom Convoy President Tamara Lich and trucker Chris Barber.
Both Lich and Barber were taken into custody in the streets of the nation’s capital without incident.
On Friday, OPS said Lich is facing one charge of counseling to commit the offense of mischief.
However, Barber faces three charges including: counseling to commit the offense of mischief, counseling to commit the offense of disobey court order (s. 127), and counseling to commit the offense of obstruct police.
A third top Freedom Convoy organizer, Daniel Bulford, was also arrested on Friday.
In all, OPS has arrested more than 100 protesters and towed more than 20 vehicles so far.
