Driver Of Lamborghini Loses His Life After Colliding With Parked Big Rig
Billings, Montana – The 68-year-old driver of a Lamborghini that struck the rear of a tractor-trailer parked along King Avenue West in Billings, MT this morning has died. Lt. Brandon Wooley of the Billings Police Department indicated the green Lamborghini was traveling east at a high speed when it struck a power pole and the semi, which was parked on the side of the road at approximately 7:53 a.m. local time.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency response crews and was then taken to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries according to krtv.com. The truck driver was uninjured in the crash and was asleep in the sleeper at the time of the collision.
Investigators are still trying to piece together exactly what and why this happened. Transportation Nation Network will update you should new information become available.
