Fire Destroys Four Semis At Flying J
Lake Station, Indiana – Four Semis went up in flames early Sunday morning at a Flying J Travel Center in Indiana.
According to Lake Station Fire Chief Chuck Fazes, four tractor-trailers parked near one another caught fire at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Sunday at a Flying J in the 1400 block of Ripley Street in Lake Station.
An nwitimes.com report indicated the Lake Station Fire Department dispatched two engines to battle the blaze. Additionally, tanker trucks were called in from nearby Hobart and New Chicago, Fazekas said.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the fiery scene.
Investigators have not released their findings as to what ignited the fire.
Police report the investigation is ongoing.
