Idaho Truck Stop Continues Tradition of Serving Thanksgiving Feast to Truckers For FREE
Boise, ID — A well-known truck stop in Idaho will once again be celebrating truckers and giving thanks for all they do on Thanksgiving in an event dubbed “Driver Appreciation Day.”
Located off Interstate 84 between Boise and Mountain Home, Boise Stage Stop has been open since 1891 and is one of the oldest businesses in the state.
For the past 17 years, the company has spent Thanksgiving Day giving a free meal to truckers, calling it “Driver Appreciation Day.”
The truck stop will serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings, and will serve CDL holders at no charge.
For non-CDL holders, the cost of the meal is $13.99 for adults and $7.99 for children.
In addition, there will be door prizes and giveaways.
The truck stop also promises lots of camaraderie for Thanksgiving.
Boise Stage Stop is located at 23801 South Orchard Access Road in Boise, off of I-84 at exit 71.
