Love’s Acquires Freight Factoring Companies, Pilot to Give Away $17,500 to “Road Warriors”

Little Rock, AR – In this edition of Truck Stop News: Love’s Travel Stops adds to its financial services division with acquisitions of two freight factoring companies, and Pilot Flying J is giving away $15,000 to deserving truckers.

Love’s Acquires Two Freight Factoring Companies

Love’s Financial, a member of the Love’s Family of Companies, recently announced that it has acquired two freight factoring companies: Vero Business Capital of Memphis, TN, and Foley Business Capital of Omaha, NE.




 

Love’s Financial provides recourse and non-recourse freight factoring solutions with any number of added services for customers such as fuel and tire discounts, My Love Rewards points and no fee credit lines on Love’s Express for fuel, tires, maintenance, cash advances and in-store purchases.

“This transaction aligns with our strategic vision of growing our financial services business,” said Shane Wharton, president of Love’s. “We look forward to continuing the Vero and Foley commitment to serving their customers with value-added factoring services while combining that commitment with the entire suite of Love’s products and services.”




 

Pilot Flying J to Give Away $17,500 to Road Warriors

Pilot Flying J (PFJ) is launching its seventh annual Road Warrior campaign.

The company says the contest is “designed to celebrate and reward professional truck drivers for their hard work, perseverance and passion.”

The PFJ Road Warrior campaign recognizes professional truck drivers through a national call for online story submissions.

The contest is intended to spotlight truckers who “go the extra mile,” according to PFJ.

 

The three winners of the contest will receive a total of $17,500.

The grand prize winner will take home $10,000, second place will receive $5,000 and the third place winner will walk away with $2,500.
