Love’s to Open 50 New Stops in 2021 Adding More Than 3,000 Truck Parking Spaces

Oklahoma City, OK – Love’s Travel Stops growth plan for 2021 calls for the openings of dozens of new stops and thousands of new truck parking spaces.

On Tuesday, the Oklahoma City-based truck stop giant said it intends to open 50 new stores and add more than 3,000 truck parking spots this year.

Last year, even amid a pandemic, Love’s opened 38 new locations which added over 3,000 truck parking spaces.

“2020 was difficult, but our teams worked together to open new locations, add parking spaces and serve customers despite the pandemic,” said Shane Wharton, president of Love’s. “In 2021, we’ll grow our travel stop network where our customers have asked us to, add new products and services and open new truck care centers to get professional truck drivers back on the road quickly and safely.”

Additionally, the company plans to open more than 30 Love’s Truck Care and Speedco locations, enhance the Love’s Connect mobile app, expand the Love’s-branded product line with new fresh food offerings, and increase fueling options across the U.S. through Trillium, a leading provider of alternative and renewable fuel supply, design, installation and operations.

The new stores will add 3,000 additional company jobs, Love’s said.

Earlier this year, TravelCenters of America put forward its ambitious growth plan for 2021 calling for the opening of more than 20 franchise locations.
