
Missouri Police Searching for Truck Driver Who Crashed Into Cruiser and Fled
St. Joseph, MO – Missouri law enforcement officials are asking for help in their search for a truck driver they say crashed into a police cruiser and fled the scene.
Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) says a trooper was assisting a motorist along I-35 on Wednesday when a big rig struck the trooper’s SUV.
According to MSHP, the incident occurred at approximately 11:23 p.m. along the northbound lanes at the 100 mile marker.

MSHP did not indicate where the cruiser was parked at the time it was struck, but claims the trucker fled the scene.
While MSHP also did not say if the trooper was in the vehicle at the time it was impacted, officials did say the trooper was uninjured.
