One Killed As Truckers Snared In 40-Vehicle “White Out” Crash
Kansas City, Missouri – At least one person is dead in a 40-vehicle crash about 27 miles east of Kansas City, Missouri on Friday in what officials are calling “white-out conditions.”
The massive pileup happened near the Oak Grove interchange and officials have closed Westbound lanes of I-70 near there. The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed multiple people were also injured in the deadly crash.

The pileup snarled traffic for miles. Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.

Another crash involving numerous big rigs closed the interstate near Concordia, and other serious crashes were reported near St. Joseph and Columbia.

The Kansas City metro area is expected to be blanketed by at least 5 inches of snow on Friday with two more rounds of snow expected in the next few days which could create even more problems for truckers and motorists.
