According to the MPD, the incident occurred on June 20 on Interstate 40 near Smith Avenue.
Authorities say the trucker was traveling northbound on I-40 and was passing Smith Avenue near the Chelsea Avenue exit when “he was shot at multiple times by another motorist.”
The semi was struck by bullets.
