Police Identify Trucker Pinned to Death by Teenage Motorist, No Charges Yet Filed

Boston, MA – Authorities have identified a New Jersey trucker who was killed last week by a teenage motorist along the Massachusetts Turnpike.

The Massachusetts State Police (MSP) identified Boris Patiño, 30, of West New York, NJ, as the deceased in a tragic accident last Friday.

According to MSP, Patiño was westbound when an “equipment malfunction” forced him to pull to the side of the highway near the Cambridge Street Overpass.

As Patiño was inspecting his rig, a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by a still unidentified 17-year-old, struck two passenger vehicles before colliding with the tractor-trailer.

Patiño was left pinned between the passenger vehicle and the semi-trailer, investigators said.

He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
