Police Searching For Man Who Allegedly Stole $3,000 of Diesel at Flying J

Seffner, FL – Police in Hillsborough County are seeking the public’s help to identify a truck driver authorities claim purchased thousands of dollars in diesel fuel with “compromised” cards.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), the events took place at the Flying J Travel Center, located at 11555 East Sligh Avenue in Seffner.




 

HCSO said the man was captured on the truck stop’s surveillance filling both a tractor-trailer and a dump truck.

In total, the man was able to use the card to purchase more than $3,000 worth of diesel between August 22 and September 6.

Officials are requesting the public’s help in identifying the man, who is described as approximately 6’1″, Hispanic and between the ages of 25 and 30.




 

Police are requesting anyone who recognizes him to contact HCSO at (813) 247-8200.

That Volvo dump truck with that paint job and the other red truck looks like a international prostar with a big dent in the passenger side fuel tank will be pretty easy to find if the cops would actually do there job!!! But here in Florida you can’t count on the cops to actually do there jobs.
