San Antonio, TX – Incredible video of a scary moment was captured by Adrian Lopez of San Antonio, TX. He was traveling down I-35 northbound at the 281 exit, near downtown San Antonio, and described what happened next. According to Lopez, a motorist driving a Mercedes cut off a semi-truck, “They were too close to the 18-wheeler and ended up getting caught in front of it,” he said. The semi-truck then dragged the car down the interstate for almost one mile and Lopez caught it all on video. Police investigated the incident and found no wrongdoing on the part of the semi driver. Lopez says the whole incident is a reminder to have more respect for truck drivers, “Just make sure to respect big rig drivers because they are carrying a lot of weight and they can’t just come to a complete stop,” Lopez said. “Make sure to look out for them because sometimes they can’t even see you.” Thankfully the driver of the Mercedes sustained only minor injuries because this could have been much worse.
