New Details Emerge in the Murder of Truck Driver Making a Delivery in Memphis
Memphis, TN – A male truck driver was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds on Monday after authorities say he was murdered while making a delivery to a Memphis-area restaurant.
According to Memphis police, first responders were called to Jack Pirtle’s Chicken in the 1200 block of South Bellevue early Monday morning.
Upon arriving they discovered a truck driver in the trailer and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim has not yet been identified, but was driving for Richmond, VA-based Performance Food Group.
Additionally, authorities indicated the suspect remains at-large.
Investigators do not have a description of the suspect at this time.
