TOUR ABOUT TRUCKING
Josh Butler, President of FlowBelow, says their Tractor AeroKit can help owner operators and fleets achieve fuel savings of more than 2% with a return-on-investment in as little as 14 months.
In this episode “Tour About Trucking” catches up with president of FlowBelow Josh Butler and finds out more about the FlowBelow Tractor AeroKit. Butler says the AeroKit can save you more than 2% on the tractor. This system is comprised of quick-release wheel covers and center and rear fairings. “It’s installed as a bolt on system and can be retrofitted or factory installed, so no drilling or welding” is required, Butler said. The entire installation process only takes about an hour according to Butler.
How does it work? Well, Butler says, “We focused on improving the aerodynamics around the wheels and keeping the airflow skirted along the whole side of the truck. It helps to evacuate the airflow underneath and keep it smooth along the side of the truck. Plus, that rear fairing is the last component on the truck that controls the airflow,” Butler explained.

What about return-on-investment (ROI)? Butler says fleets and owner operators are seeing a positive ROI in as little as 14 months. In this episode Butler will demonstrate the system and explain the design of the various components.
The system comes standard in black, white and gray and can also be supplied in “custom colors” Butler says. Owner operators can have the system in 1-2 weeks and fleets can expect delivery in 4-6 weeks on larger orders.
