Tractor-Trailer Shot Up Along Michigan Interstate, Suspect Remains At-Large

Kalamazoo, MI – A suspect remains at-large after opening fire on a tractor-trailer along a Michigan interstate on Thursday evening.

According to local media reports, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is investigating a shooting along eastbound on I-94 that left multiple bullet holes in a tractor-trailer.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. in Comstock Township west of South 35th Street.


Investigators indicated the suspect or suspects were traveling in a red car, possibly a Ford Fusion, when the driver opened fire striking the semi multiple times.

No description of the suspect has been provided.

The truck driver, who was not identified, was reportedly uninjured in the attack.
