Traffic Cam Captures Deadly Wrong-Way Crash Between Motorist and Truckers

Toledo, OH — Video of deadly crash this morning between a wrong-way motorist and two truckers has been released by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).

According to Toledo Police, the accident occurred along northbound Interstate 75 at approximately 12:45 a.m. after police attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the motorist refused.


After leading police on a chase through a residential area, the motorist then began driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-75.

The terrifying video released by ODOT shows the passenger vehicle operating at a high rate of speed before plowing into two tractor-trailers.

The vehicles then exploded into a fiery inferno.

The driver and passenger of the four-wheeler perished in the crash.


Authorities have not yet released their identities.

The truckers, identified as Jody Cicero, 50, of Monroe, and Jason Butler, 24, of Bellville, sustained only minor injuries, according to police.
