Truck Driver Arrested For DUI After Rear-Ending Washington State Patrol Vehicle

George, Washington – The odds of avoiding a citation if you rear-end a police vehicle are not in your favor. However, if you are operating a 2-ton semi and you’ve been drinking, and then you rear-end a police vehicle; well, you are going to jail. One truck driver learned this lesson the hard way last week.

A 25-year-old truck driver, Isaac Guerrero, from Outlook, Washington, was arrested Friday after allegedly rear-ending a Washington State Patrol vehicle. According to the accident report a trooper was flagged down by a concerned civilian indicating a semi was driving erratically southbound on State Route 281 near George last Friday afternoon.

The trooper then motioned to the semi driver to pull over. As the driver pulled over he struck the trooper’s vehicle in the rear.

Guerrero is being charged with driving under the influence and his truck was impounded. The accident closed the roadway for an hour and 20 minutes.
