Truck Driver Has Close Call With Load Of Rebar
Calera, Oklahoma – Authorities said a truck driver is lucky to be alive after a load of rebar impaled the cab of his semi-truck along highway 75 on Thursday.
According to investigators, the incident happened Thursday afternoon when the driver, whose name has not been released, braked hard.
The load of rebar then shifted and crashed through the cab of the semi and into the dash.
Fortunately, the truck driver was uninjured.
It is unclear if the load was improperly secured.
No citation was issued.
