Truck Driver Loses Life After Colliding With Pickup Truck Making A Lane Change

Pasadena, California – Trucker Jamie Delapaz, 60, of Fontana, California, sadly lost his life last night at approximately 6:30 p.m. when the semi he was driving collided with a GMC pickup truck along the 210 in Pasadena, California. Witnesses say the pick-up was “trying to establish itself” making a lane change. Emergency response crews were dispatched in an effort to save the driver’s life, but when they found the driver he had already succumbed to his injuries. Two other cars were involved in the crash, but no one other than the truck driver was injured. The driver of the pickup was interviewed at the scene by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), but has not been cited. This crash is still under investigation.
