Truck Driver Mysteriously Shot Dead On Side Of Interstate, Suspect Arrested
Mitchell County, Texas – The Texas Rangers are investigating the shooting death of a truck driver that happened along I-20 Thursday morning.
According to investigators, 56-year-old truck driver Noppol ‘Noi’ Pantiyanurak from California was shot and killed Thursday near mile marker 201 on eastbound I-20 around 6:50 a.m.

A passenger was also shot and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, 20-year-old Brandon Christopher Madrid, of Odessa, was arrested and charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

According to numerous published reports, Pantiyanurak’s family members say that he pulled over to the side of the roadway after seeing flashing lights from a 4-wheeler in his rearview.
Pantiyanurak exited the tractor-trailer.
According to a report by KTXS12, family members say they were told by investigators that Pantiyanurak was shot in the back and “probably never knew what hit him.”
It is unclear at this time what led up to the incident and if Pantiyanurak and Madrid exchanged words on the side of the roadway.
However, after shooting Pantiyanurak, Madrid then allegedly shot Pantiyanurak’s team driver who had also exited the truck.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says the injured person was taken to Hendrick Medical Center. No update on his condition is available at this time.
A trooper, who stopped to help what he thought was a motorist in need of assistance, discovered the murder.
Madrid was taken into custody at the scene and his being held in the Mitchell County Jail on $700,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing.

Trucker must have lived a sheltered life to trust a vehicle telling him to pull over. Never heard trucking is the best job excons can get.
