
Truck Driver’s Death Remains A Mystery After Found In Ditch Along Highway
Juneau County, Wisconsin – The Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP) is investigating what led to the death of a semi-truck driver after he was found in a ditch along Highway 80 on Wednesday.
According to a press release, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office said it received a call on Wednesday at 1:03 p.m. alerting them to a semi in a ditch along Highway 80 by County Road H.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene and upon arriving discovered the truck driver unresponsive.
After performing “life saving measures” the driver was pronounced dead on the scene, according to investigators.
His identity has yet to be released.
Investigators have not indicated if the driver may have suffered a medical event, crashed or if foul play is suspected.
Transportation Nation Network reached out to Juneau County authorities on Friday, but no new information is being provided at this time.
