Trucker And Popular Country Music Artist Responds To Fans After Revealing Wife’s Cancer Diagnosis
Little Rock, Arkansas – Trucker and country music performer Tony Justice shocked fans last week when he took to social media to tell the world his wife Misty has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
In the “Fan Announcement” Justice said he would be putting off the recording of his anticipated “Eastbound And Down” tribute album scheduled for release in 2019 in order to “be by her [Misty] side for this unforeseen journey.”
In the hours and days that followed, fans flooded the singer’s Facebook page with more than 400 messages of encouragement and well wishes.
On Monday evening Justice responded to his fans once again via Facebook, but this time expressing the couple’s gratitude for the love and kindness shown by his fans and supporters. He wrote,
“Misty Rich Justice and myself want to thank each of you for the out pouring of love and prayers… It has truely lifted us up more than y’all will ever know.”
Justice also gave fans some positive news about Misty’s prognosis, writing,
“Also, we just got news back that her lymphnode biopsy came back negative. The credit for that goes to God and to all of you and your prayers!!!”
