Trucker And Rig Plunge 200 Feet To The Bottom of Eagle Canyon

Emery County, Utah – It was a tragic scene Sunday afternoon when Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) arrived to Eagle Canyon along I-70. Authorities say they received word at about 2 p.m. a semi was seen in the canyon near mile marker 118. UHP determined the truck went over a concrete barrier, falling 200 feet into Eagle Canyon sometime on Saturday night. Thomas B Bowler, 42, of Bunkerville, Nevada was identified as the driver killed in the crash. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Rest in peace, trucker.
