
Trucker Crashes Headfirst Into Load Of Pipes After 4-Wheeler Cuts Him Off
Falls County, Texas – A truck driver incredibly avoided injury this week when his rig was penetrated by a load of pipes after he attempted to evade a collision with a 4-wheeler that cut him off.
According to the Texas Dept. of Public Safety (DPS), the wreck happened on Tuesday at 12:40 p.m. along northbound HWY 6 and FM 1240 near Perry, Texas.
Officials said the truck driver attempted to avoid a 4-wheeler and changed lanes when it struck the back of flatbed hauling a load of pipes.
The pipes smashed through the windshield of the tractor-trailer, but miraculously both drivers walked away without serious injury.
DPS officials confirm the investigation is on-going and citations are possible.
