Officials say the trucker suffered a few broken bones and is recovering in a nearby hospital. The manhole has since been boarded up to prevent anyone else from experiencing the same fate.
However, it wasn’t long before the fallout from the accident began. People on social media are already demanding the truck stop be held liable for the fall. It will be interesting to see how this story develops in the coming days and weeks.
Property owner should be held liable!
