Trucker Fends Off Attack At Convenience Store By Shooting Attacker Multiple Times

Miami Dade County, Florida – The question is often asked of gun owners if they could pull the trigger and actually shoot someone if matters ever came to that. Well, a truck driver who was attacked at a 7-Eleven convenience store answered this question when he shot his attacker twice in self-defense police say.

Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue units responded early Tuesday morning to the scene at 1000 NE 215th St. Investigators learned the truck driver was talking to someone when a man approached him and began attacking him in the parking lot.

The driver then grabbed a handgun and began to fire striking the attacker in the stomach and back. The attacker was able to make his way inside the store where emergency medical rescue was called for help. He was later taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition.

Police interviewed the truck driver and determined he was acting in self-defense. No charges are expected to be filed.

  1. Lol. Stomach & back? Non-life threatening injuries? 1. Always be aware of your surroundings. 2. Shoot to kill 3. Don’t shoot in the back (assailant running away)
