Trucker Found ‘Completely Naked’ and Drunk Lied About Identity After Crashing, Police Say

Rostraver, PA – A trucker is behind bars after he was found naked and impaired outside of his semi following a crash in Pennsylvania last week.

According to officials, the accident occurred on Interstate 70 just before 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 4.

Police say the Freightliner exited the interstate, traveled over an embankment and came to rest between mile markers 43 and 44 near Findlay Road.

Trucker Orelbis D. Cruz-Iglesias, 26, of Florida, was located outside his crashed semi shortly after the accident “completely naked” by a witness who stopped to check on the driver.

Cruz-Iglesias was taken from the scene to a local hospital for minor injuries sustained in the accident.

The crash took place on November 4 in Rostraver, PA along I-70 between mile markers 43 and 44 near Findlay Road.

While at the hospital, state police interviewed the trucker, where court papers allege Cruz-Iglesias provided officials with a false identification and age.

However, police contacted the trucking company, who provided officials with Cruz-Iglesias’ correct identification.

Additionally, Cruz-Iglesias failed a field sobriety test administered at the hospital, despite telling police he had not consumed any alcohol or contraband.

Further, police recovered a 9 mm handgun from the truck’s cab.

Cruz-Iglesias did not have a permit to carry the weapon, according to officials.

He was charged with driving under the influence, providing false identification, illegal possession of a firearm and multiple traffic violations.

Cruz-Iglesias was ordered to the Washington County jail on a $100,000 bond.

Police did not reveal if they believe Cruz-Iglesias was driving naked or if he removed his clothing following the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.

  1. Dear trucker, if you must drink, do it at home or on your big down time. Don’t do it while driving. Packing heat legally doesn’t bother me, but do it legally with your company’s blessings. And if you want to be naked, do so on sleeper birth time, at home, or at a clothing optional resort. Don’t do it while driving. Mom always said to wear clean underwear in case of an accident. She said nothing about making sure you wiped your butt well before an accident. I’m pretty sure that his lawyer has his job cut out trying to come up with a defence for this wayward soul.
