Trucker Goes Missing in Ohio, Daughter Issues Desperate Plea for Help

UPDATE: The daughter of missing trucker Rick Foster has confirmed that he has been located alive.

Maia Torres provided few details, but said a patient by her father’s name checked into a hospital Friday morning.

She said she is unsure of his condition other than he is “talking again” and the situation has now become a “family matter.”

Cleveland, OH – The daughter of a trucker has issued a desperate plea to help find her missing father.

Maia Torres said the last time her dad, Rick Foster, was heard from was the evening of Tuesday, July 14.

Foster is a trucker for Bainbridge, NY-based Richard Gray Trucking.

According to Torres, her father was stopped in a neighborhood of Cleveland called Kamm’s Corner, en route to Michigan with a load.

His truck was located in the parking lot of a permanently closed Kmart.

Foster, however, was not with it.

Alarmingly, the truck was unlocked and keys were still in the ignition.

Inside, authorities discovered all of Foster’s belongings, including his backpack.

The load with not tampered with.

The only thing notably missing, Torres said, is her father’s phone.

Upon calling his number, it goes straight to a full voicemail mailbox.

Torres said her dad suffers from Crohn’s Disease and as such, authorities in Ohio have checked area hospitals.

Late Thursday night, Torres confirmed the nearby Fairview Hospital did not have any record of Foster or any John Doe’s checking in.

Torres is pleading with anyone who may have seen her father to come forward.

No description of Foster was provided by Torres other than a photo she posted alongside him.
