Trucker Snaps Photos of Woman During Road Rage Assault
Tilden Township, PA – Police in Pennsylvania are searching for a woman they say assaulted a trucker on Monday in an apparent road rage incident.
In a post by the Tilden Township Police Department (TTPD), officials said they are seeking the identity of a female from photos taken by the driver of a semi-truck as she was physically and verbally assaulting him.
The incident happened on Monday at approximately 12:26 p.m. in the area of State Road 61 and Lowland Road, authorities stated.
According to TTSD, the female motorist was traveling northbound on SR 61 and operating a red Suzuki sedan when she cut in front of a tractor-trailer, also headed north on SR 61.
For unknown reasons, the female “jumped out of the red Suzuki and came back to the victim’s truck,” TTSD wrote.
The woman then “climbed up onto the driver side door” and began verbally assaulting the driver, who was not identified by officials.
Officials called the woman “irate,” and said she pounded on the semi’s driver’s side window as she was “screaming profanities” at the trucker.
The woman then opened the driver’s side door and continued “screaming profanities,” this time in the victim’s face.
During the course of the confrontation, the trucker called 9-1-1.
Officials said part of the altercation was captured on the emergency call.
Additionally, the woman “spit saliva directly in the [trucker’s] face several times,” during the 9-1-1 call.
The driver took numerous pictures of his attacker, which TTSD posted on Monday afternoon, hoping the public could help identify her.
