VIDEO: Traffic Camera Catches Trucker in Bizarre Hit-And-Run Incident
Duluth, GA – A trucker was caught on a traffic camera in a bizarre hit-and-run incident in Georgia last week.
According to the Duluth Police Department (DPD), officers were called to a gas station on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard last Tuesday morning after reports that a trucker caused an accident and then fled.
DPD investigators questioned multiple witnesses at the scene including a victim who said that while sitting at a stop light a big rig began pushing his vehicle from behind.
Authorities later released the video from a traffic camera showing the semi-truck accelerate and begin pushing the small passenger vehicle into the intersection before making a u-turn.

According to local outlet WSB 2, DPD later tracked the trucker suspected in the incident to a nearby restaurant.
Officers observed damage to the front end of the semi-truck and also paint and pieces of plastic from the car that was hit.
The trucker, identified as Henry Cain, reportedly denied he was involved in the incident.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with hit-and-run, reckless driving and following too closely.
Investigators have, so far, not provided any further details as to what may have precipitated the incident.
