Witness Captures Disturbing Video Of Knife-Wielding Attack On Tow Truck Driver

Watertown, Massachusetts – Disturbing video has emerged from the scene of a fatal incident in the streets of Watertown, Massachusetts earlier this week. A witness captured video of a pedestrian attacking a tow truck driver and stabbing him 5 times after the tow truck struck and killed Benita A. Horner, 68, of Belmont, MA. Police identified the attacker as her son Philip Horner, 38. He was arraigned yesterday on charges of armed assault and attempted murder. A not-guilty plea was entered on his behalf, and he was sent to Bridgewater State Hospital for a 20-day mental health evaluation. The tow truck driver has also been identified as Thomas P. Fogerty, 60. He was treated for multiple stab wounds at a local hospital. He is reported to be in critical condition. The investigation is still ongoing, but no charges have been filed against Mr. Fogerty at this time. Mr. Horner is due back in court on October 10.
