World’s Largest Truck Stop to Dish Out Traditional Favorites on Giant Thanksgiving Buffet

Walcott, IA — For truckers who find themselves around the Quad Cities over Thanksgiving, there’s no better place to celebrate the day than at the World’s Largest Truck Stop.

Conveniently just off Interstate 80, the famed truck stop and its restaurant — aptly named the Iowa 80 kitchen — will be open and serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Diners can enjoy a full Thanksgiving Day Buffet, which will include turkey, black oak ham, beef pot roast, fried shrimp, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, au gratin potatoes, yams, mixed vegetables and a salad bar.

Of course, be sure to save room for pumpkin pie and other assorted desserts.

The cost of the buffet is up slightly this year at $17.99 (in 2019, the cost was $17.50).
