Yokohama Announces Another Price Hike on Commercial Truck Tires
Fullerton, CA – Yokohama Tire Corporation is once again hiking prices on its commercial truck tires.
The tire manufacturing giant announced the price increase on Friday citing ongoing challenges in the supply chain and rising costs.
“In response to the unparalleled rise of freight and operational costs, as well as the continued increase in the cost of raw materials, Yokohama Tire Corporation announced it will implement a price increase on its consumer replacement tires and commercial truck tires sold in the U.S., effective November 1,” the company said.
It is unclear how much costs will be increasing, but the hike will take effect November 1.
This is the second price increase just in the last three months.
Yokohama announced a similar increase in July which took effect August 1.
